Athletics invites the campus community to cheer on the men's and women's basketball teams to the first place spot in the conference on Friday, Feb. 11, in a doubleheader against the Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners.
Before the games, Cal Poly Pomona students, staff and faculty are encouraged to attend a free tailgate party, with complimentary pizza and drinks, and a live disc jockey, at 4:30 p.m. on the west side of Kellogg Gym.
The Bronco women will tip-off at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men at 7:30 p.m.
The evening will include live performances by the Cal Poly Pomona cheer squad, the Bronco pep band and a dance performance by Sigma Kappa Sorority. In addition, all game attendees can have their faces painted green and gold by student-athletes.
General admission to the basketball games is free for all students, faculty and staff with a valid Cal Poly Pomona I.D.
Those in attendance may be seen on television. The games will be aired on Adelphia Cable Channel 10 and on the campus Channel 33, as well as on the Internet at www.video.cpp.edu.
