The third annual Showcase of Excellence will be held in the Bronco Student Center on Saturday, Feb. 5. This event is designed to encourage high achieving high school seniors to apply for the Honors Program and to enroll at Cal Poly Pomona. The program will begin with an address by Provost Tomas Morales, followed by panels of students who will speak to all the prospective students and their families about the academic and social sides of life at the university. Students and their guests will then visit their colleges to hear from deans, faculty and students. Last year, more than 300 prospective students, along with nearly 500 family members, attended the Showcase of Excellence. For more information, contact Amanda Podany, director of the Honors Program, at (909) 869-3875.
