About two dozen students from Cal Poly Pomona and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo work on the Rose Float year round. However, to complete the float, campus community volunteers are encouraged to join in the distinctly Southern California tradition of decorating the Rose Floats between Christmas and New Year.
