Jim Grizzell, lecturer, Kinesiology & Health Promotion, gave a presentation on “Using the American College Health Association’s Tools for College Health Planning” at the California College Health Nurses Association annual conference on Nov. 13, 2004, at Loyola Marymount University. The objectives were to describe how campus decision makers can improve quality of college health programs and develop healthy campus initiatives to enhance retention and student learning. The program highlighted use of the Standards of Practice for Health Promotion in Higher Education, National College Health Assessment and Healthy Campus 2010.
