Don Hellison, a professor in the College of Education and director of the Urban Youth Leader Project at the University of Illinois, will participate in three upcoming campus events. The campus community is invited to attend these events, sponsored by the College of Letters, Arts & Social Sciences in collaboration with the Kinesiology & Health Promotion Club, Faculty Center for Professional Development, Center for Community Service-Learning, and Weglyn Endowed Chair for Multicultural Studies. Hellison will demonstrate his Personal and Social Responsibility Model on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 4-6 p.m. in the Darlene May Gym. A presentation on "Consultations on Community-Based Research: Perspectives from Dr. Don Hellison" will take place Thursday, Nov. 18, 10-11:30 a.m. in the Center for Community Service-Learning (Building 1, Room 113). A lecture on "Engaging the Engaged University," followed by a reception, will be held on Nov. 18, 2-4 p.m. in the Bronco Student Center's Ursa Major Suite.
