Phillip Clarke, a professor emeritus in the Music department, died from cancer on Oct. 16. He was 61 years old. A resident of Upland, Clarke taught piano and other music classes at Cal Poly Pomona for 22 years. A memorial service for Clarke will take place Saturday, Oct. 30, at 1:30 p.m. at Todd Memorial Chapel, 570 N. Garey Ave. in Pomona.
