Due to the generosity of the Cal State LA Health Center, Student Health Services recently received 100 doses of flu vaccine to administer to high-risk members of the campus community. These doses will be reserved solely for students, faculty and staff who meet one or more of the following high risk categories as mandated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and ordered by the State of California Department of Health Services:

  • Adults aged 65 years and older;
  • All women who will be pregnant during the influenza season;
  • Health-care workers involved in direct patient care; and Out-of-home caregivers and household contacts of children aged <6 months.
