Each fall, California state employees band together to raise funds for those in need through the State Employees Charitable Campaign. The annual campaign raises donations for the United Way, which in turn disperses funds to more than 800 charitable organizations statewide, including Cal Poly Pomona and others designated as not-for-profit organizations. Last year's campus campaign raised almost $50,000 thanks to some 275 donors at Cal Poly Pomona.
