American painter Ken Sheffer, formerly a rocket scientist, will showcase his oil paintings in an exhibit, "Postcards from the Antipodes," on display at the Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center from Oct. 6-31. The opening reception will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, 6-9 p.m.
