Reception to Honor Outstanding Academic Advisers


President Michael Ortiz will host a reception to honor the 2003-04 Outstanding Academic Advisers on Thursday, May 27, from 3-5 p.m. in the CLA Building, Heritage Conference Center (8th floor), and the campus community is invited to attend.

The following advisers have been selected as the 2003-04 Outstanding Academic Advisers:

  • Gerald E. Hackett, College of Agriculture
  • Robert L. Hurt, College of Business Administration
  • Kamran Abedini, College of Engineering
  • Charles E. Loggins, College of Environmental Design
  • Lisa Nelson, College of Letters, Arts & Social Sciences
  • Herb Fynewever, College of Science
  • Michael Godfrey, Collins School of Hospitality Management
  • Kenneth M. Stahl, College of Education & Integrative Studies
  • Gretchen Anderson, Student Affairs

In addition, Educational Equity Services and the Educational Opportunity Program was selected as the Outstanding Advising Program of the Year.
