Online registration for students is now available via BroncoDirect. The feature was introduced to the campus community on April 26, and already approximately 3,000 students have used BroncoDirect to register for courses.
BroncoDirect provides online services to faculty, staff and students. In addition to online registration, the system provides students with the ability to pay their fees online and view their academic history and enrollment appointments. Soon, instructors will be able to view their class rosters, and by summer quarter, faculty will be able to submit grades online.
Instructor training for BroncoDirect will take place the week of May 24. Specific schedules and announcements will be sent as they become available. For more information on instructor training, send an e-mail to email@example.com.
To date, BroncoDirect has handled nearly 500 users per hour with a record high of more than 5,500 sessions in one day. To access BroncoDirect, visit broncodirect.cpp.edu and type in your Bronco number and password. Campus users who have been authorized for Bronco Direct Services will be notified of their login information via e-mail.
BroncoDirect is Cal Poly Pomona?s gateway into the PeopleSoft system. PeopleSoft is an information management software system that supports finance, student and human resources operations. The PeopleSoft project is a system-wide effort to use technology to develop consistency in reporting information at the 23 different CSU campuses. It replaces Banner, the current student administration system.
The PeopleSoft project team continues to strive to improve BroncoDirect to meet the needs of the campus community. Users are invited to send comments regarding favorite BroncoDirect features or suggestions for additional features to firstname.lastname@example.org.
