SEATTLE, WA ? Cal Poly Pomona?s women?s basketball team will carry the torch of the California Collegiate Athletic Association into the NCAA Division II West Regional championship game. The Broncos rallied from a 13-point deficit in the last 10 minutes of the game and outlasted Cal State Bakersfield, 87-84, Saturday night (March 13) in Seattle Pacific?s Brougham Pavilion in an NCAA Division II West Region semifinal game. The Bronco men, seeded sixth and the defending West Region champions, played one of their strongest games of the season, but were defeated by No. 3 Humboldt State on Friday, March 12.
