Cal Poly Pomona got the news it was hoping for – and expecting – Sunday night (March 7) when both the men's basketball and women's basketball teams qualified for the NCAA Division II playoffs in the same year for the first time ever. The women, seeded third in the West, will face No. 6 Chico State on Friday, March 12, in a first-round game at Seattle Pacific, while the men, seeded sixth and the defending West Region champions, will meet No. 3 Humboldt State Friday, March 12, at Cal State San Bernardino. Both games will be Webcast.
