Staff Council will hold its annual Valentine's Day Drawing Fundraiser on Thursday, Feb. 12, 12:30 p.m. in the University Quad. Prizes include trips to Las Vegas, Laughlin, amusement parks, restaurants, theaters, golf courses and more. Tickets are available Jan. 26 through Feb. 12, and cost 50 cents each or 12 for $5. Winners need not be present to win. Staff Council raises scholarship monies through this drawing in memory of the late Amelia Hammond, a staff employee from 1962-80. She served on Staff Council and, in 1978, founded the scholarship program for staff employees pursuing higher education.
