The fall quarter is rapidly coming to a close, bringing us to the heart of the holiday season. This is a time when we can reflect on the past year, remembering those who have made a difference in our lives.
My own life underwent a significant change when I was given the opportunity to serve as president of Cal Poly Pomona. It has been a remarkable experience so far, due in no small part to the extraordinary efforts of each of you. The faculty and staff are the lifeblood of Cal Poly Pomona and I want you to know how much I appreciate the work you are doing for our students.
I want to take this time to wish everyone a joyous holiday season and happy New Year. December gives us the opportunity to spend additional time with the ones we love. I hope all of you enjoy this special break and return rested and safe when we begin in January.
