Staff Council Staff Emeritus Awards
Kimberly Plater, former university police chief, is one of 14 Cal Poly Pomona retirees who will be presented with a Staff Council Staff Emeritus Award on Nov. 12.

President J. Michael Ortiz will present 14 Cal Poly Pomona retirees with Staff Council Staff Emeritus Awards on Wednesday, Nov. 12. Emeritus status is given upon retirement to staff with a minimum of 12 years of university service or who have provided exceptional contributions to the university.

University employees, friends and family are invited to attend the award ceremony at noon in the Bronco Student Center?s England Evans Board Room (second floor). Light refreshments will be served.

Staff members who have earned the honorary titles since 2001 include:
