Southern California Edison may ask Cal Poly Pomona to reduce electric use today, Oct. 27, due to fires in Southern California affecting electric transmission lines and the high heat causing increased air conditioning loads. Facilities Management asks that use of non-essential
electric equipment is curtailed Monday, Oct. 27, from noon to 6 p.m.
