As has been reported widely, the "Microsoft Blaster" worm is scheduled to attempt an attack on Microsoft?s WindowsUpdate Web site on Saturday, Aug. 16. Because the potential impact on campus is unknown, Instructional & Information Technology (I&IT) strongly recommends that everyone shut their office computers down on Friday, Aug. 15, and leave them off for the weekend.
