The English & Foreign Languages department is accepting submissions from staff and community writers for the spring edition of Harvest, a literary anthology that features poetry, short fiction, drama, nonfiction and art. The final entry deadline for submissions is March 31. Cash prizes will be presented for the best work in each category. In addition, contributors have an opportunity to win the $200 Steve Whaley Memorial Poetry Prize, named after the first faculty adviser for Harvest, who died in Oct. 2002. The prize will be awarded annually to the contributor whose poetry most eloquently expresses the human condition while promoting greater cognizance of human interrelatedness.
