WWII Bomber Aircraft Nose Art Photo Exhibit

In commemoration of the centennial anniversary of flight, Cal Poly Pomona?s student branch of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics is presenting a photo exhibit on a definitive American tradition ? aircraft nose art. The exhibit, which features photographs of the art that inspired the World War II airmen to personalize their aircraft and the nose art itself, is on display through Aug. 16 in the W. Keith & Janet Kellogg University Gallery. Viewing hours are Fridays, 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays, noon to 4 p.m. For more information, call the gallery at (909) 869-4302.
