Staff Council will hold Staff Appreciation Day, ?Salute to Staff Excellence,? on Tuesday, June 17. The annual event is an opportunity for the campus community to recognize outstanding staff as well as enjoy the friendship and support of peers.
The day will kick off with a reception from 8-9:15 a.m. in the Conference & Events Lobby on the second floor of the Bronco Student Center (BSC). Associated Students Inc. will provide tours of the new BSC beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Workshops will run concurrently from 9:30-11 a.m. ?Journey Into Ceramics? will be held in Building 13-1106; ?Handwriting Analysis? will be held in the BSC Silverwood Room; ?Pilates on the Ball? will be held in the BSC Fitness Center; and ?Preventing Identity Theft? will be held in the BSC England Evans Room.
The traditional Staff Appreciation Day luncheon will be held 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the BSC Multipurpose Room. President Bob Suzuki will present the 2002-03 Outstanding Staff Awards during the event. The menu, ?California Laguna Party,? will include seafood salad, grilled Malibu chicken breast, grilled Mahi Mahi with fruit salsa and more. Cost of the luncheon is $5.
A variety show from 2-4 p.m. in the University Theatre will conclude the day?s events. Dave Johnson, director of Judicial Affairs, will return as this year?s host to introduce a number of songs and dance routines performed by Cal Poly Pomona staff members.
