Public Workshop for Kellogg Drive Rehabilitation Project

Public Workshop for Kellogg Drive Rehabilitation Project
A Foothill Transit bus drives along a cracking section of Kellogg Drive at Cal Poly Pomona. The road is scheduled to be repaved this summer.

For a number of years, the university has been seeking funding to repair and reconstruct Kellogg Drive due to the increased bus traffic. Thanks to the generous assistance and cooperation of the County of Los Angeles, as well as our local delegation of state and federal elected officials, the road rehabilitation project for Kellogg Drive will begin next month.

This project will bring additional construction activity to the campus, with a January 2004 completion date. Yet, the end result will be a new road designed to support our current traffic levels.

In an effort to mitigate the impact to the campus during construction, the Cal Poly Pomona community is invited to a workshop on Thursday, May 15, 1-3 p.m. in Building 49, Conference Room A.

For those who wish to attend, please RSVP to Stephanie Velona at (909) 869-3998 or via e-mail at sjvelona@cpp.edu.
