President Bob Suzuki has been invited to deliver the graduation address at Mt. San Antonio College?s 57th commencement on Friday, May 23, 7 p.m. in Hilmer Lodge Stadium.

Suzuki?s address to Mt. SAC?s Class of 2003 is titled ?When Opportunity Knocks, Be Prepared.? This year, Mt. SAC will award 1,956 associate?s degrees.

Suzuki, who will retire this summer, has served as president of Cal Poly Pomona for the past 12 years.

Being on adjacent land parcels, Cal Poly Pomona and Mt. SAC have not only been neighbors, but also partners in education. The two institutions have a long history of collaboration in agricultural sciences, health sciences, theater arts, student housing accommodations and cooperative library privileges. In an effort to encourage academic success and increase efficiency in transfers from Mt. SAC to Cal Poly Pomona, the two institutions further formalized this relationship with an agreement signed in April 2001.
