The 7th Annual Hilda L. Solis Scholarship Dinner & Reception will be held Friday, April 18, 6-9 p.m. at Kellogg West. Eight scholarships will be awarded to Cal Poly Pomona students at this year's event, hosted by the Cesar E. Chavez Center for Higher Education, the Raices Alumni Association and the Chicano/Latino student community. Congresswoman Hilda L. Solis, a Cal Poly Pomona alumna, is scheduled to attend the program. The cost to attend the event is $10 for students with a Cal Poly Pomona I.D., $30 for Raices Alumni Association members and $40 for community members.
