|Founders' Celebration 2003:
“A Notable Night”
Founders? Celebration 2003: ?A Notable Night,” an evening that is quickly approaching on Feb. 9, will include a fabulous array of Voice Auction items up for bid.
This year?s packages include a dinner for six with President and Mrs. Suzuki at Campanile Restaurant, featuring a menu personally prepared by Cal Poly Pomona alumnus and renowned chef Mark Peel; a fabulous night for 12 of Kings hockey viewed from the Sempra Energy luxury box, including catering and VIP parking; a chance to own an all-new TH!NK neighbor, a zero-emissions battery electric vehicle from Ford; and much, much more!
Descriptions of this year?s auction items are available on theFounders? Celebration Web site. Details of all the items are listed, allowing guests to come prepared that night to challenge rival bidders and successfully attain the desired item (or items)! Keep in mind that each and every dollar generated from the Founders? Celebration auction goes to benefit Cal Poly Pomona's student scholarship fund.
A big turnout is expected for this year?s gala. It promises to be a great night of entertainment and a memorable tribute to Bob and Agnes Suzuki as guests bid them farewell in their final year of service to the university.
