As part of a global movement to end violence against girls and women, Cal Poly Pomona will host performances of Eve Ensler's Obie Award-winning play, ?The Vagina Monologues,? Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, at 8 p.m. in the University Theatre. A special performance completely in Spanish will be on Feb. 1 at 2 p.m.
This year?s performances will benefit the YWCA WINGS Domestic Violence Program and Cal Poly Pomona?s Get Smart: Stop Violence Grant Office. Additionally, 10 percent of proceeds will be given to agencies that specifically serve Native American women. Tickets are $15 general admission and $10 for students with identification.
