"Current Trends in Biotechnology, the Environment & Golf Turf"


A seminar on "Current Trends in Biotechnology, the Environment & Golf Turf" will take place Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 11:30 a.m., at Kellogg West. Horticulture alumnus Michael P. Kenna, director of USGA Green Section Research, will present the seminar, which is being sponsored by Jacobsen E-Z-Go Textron in Corona and Simplot Partners of San Diego. Approximately 100 industry representatives, alumni, students and friends of the College of Agriculture are expected to attend. The Southern California Turfgrass Foundation will also honor long-time turf farm adviser John Van Dam. Cost is $15 per person. For more information or to make reservations, call Kent W.
