The Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center in conjunction with the Peace with Justice Center presents the world premiere of a new documentary film, "Iraq: Voices from the Street," by Cal Poly Pomona filmmakers Saul Landau and Sonia Angulo. The event will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Cal Poly Pomona Downtown Center, 300 W. Second St., Pomona. Presentation begins with the 25-minute film that shows the faces, voices, mosques, souks and sick children of Iraq, along with interviews with government officials. The film will be followed by discussion on the war against Iraq. Admission is free. The film will also be shown on campus on Wednesday, Nov. 13, noon to 1 p.m., in the CLA building, room P2-7.
