Scholars, artists and community organizers are invited to participate in the first West and the Pacific Regional Association for Asian American Studies conference, March 21-23, 2003, at Cal Poly Pomona. The theme of the conference, ?Crossing Boundaries: Coalition Building, Community Formation and Activism,? will address how Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans have engaged in activism at the local and national level on social, economic, cultural, religious and political issues. Conference costs (includes registration, welcome reception, two breakfasts, two lunches and a dinner banquet): Early registration (by Jan 20, 2003) is $55 for AAAS members, $35 for student members, and $75 for non-members. Late registration will be $100 for members, $50 for student members and $150 for non-members.
