Second Teach-In Scheduled to Address U.S./Iraq Issue

The public is invited to a second on-campus teach-in addressing the possibility of war with Iraq. Organized by a group of concerned faculty and students, the teach-in will be held Tuesday, Oct. 22, noon to 1 p.m., just outside the University Theatre (Building 24).

Attendees will hear pro- and anti-war views. Those scheduled to speak include Cal State San Bernardino political science professor Mark Clark, Democratic congressional candidate Marjorie Musser Mikels, communications student Patricia Taylor and Dennis D. Loo, assistant professor of sociology at Cal Poly Pomona.

The event will be streamed live over the Internet, as was the first teach-in. An archived presentation can be seen online at video.cpp.edu and on campus cable network, Channels 32 and 33.
