In-Person Add and Drop Available for Fall 2002 Quarter

In response to the various challenges students have had in completing their registration via the Voice Response (VR) system, Cal Poly Pomona is offering an additional option for students to add and drop classes for Fall Quarter 2002.

While the VR system will continue to operate during the add/drop period beginning Sept. 13, students are also able to add and drop coursework in person with a system operator. This service is available Sept. 13 through Sept. 26, from 8 a.m. 6 pm Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday in Building 9, Rm. 104.

Transactions at this location will be limited to the services available via the VR system. All override tickets, or any other transaction that would require the override of system parameters, must be completed within the Registrar's Office beginning Sept. 19, as is the usual procedure.

To resolve the current challenges with the existing VR system, the University has invested in a new voice response system that is expected to be fully operational for Winter Quarter 2003 pre-registration. In addition, the campus is escalating other projects that include the delivery of web registration within the next two years.
