2002-03 President’s Council Scholars Named

Considered the most prestigious scholarship series at Cal Poly Pomona, President’s Council Scholarships have been awarded to 14 undergraduate and three graduate students. Each college and school in the university is represented.

The President’s Council is a group of business and community leaders who have excelled in their professional fields and demonstrated an exemplary record of public service. The council serves as the major support group for the president and brings university concerns to the attention of civic, government and business leaders throughout the region and the state.

Each scholarship is funded by individual and family donations. The 2002-03 Scholars each received a $1,500 award and a President’s Council Scholar medallion at a dinner celebration on Sept. 24 at Kellogg West.
