Team leaders from The Boeing Company touched down on campus to get updates on three faculty-student research projects that are taking wing because of continued support from the aerospace giant.
In the past four years, Boeing has given $400,000 to the Colleges of Engineering, Business Administration and Science to support scholarships, research projects, student clubs and other activities.
Students and faculty from a College of Business Administration team detailed their progress on “Data Analytics of Supply-Chain Modeling” while another CBA group addressed its “SWIFT Cybersecurity and Student-Run Data Center” project. A team from the College of Engineering shared its findings on “Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Unmanned Underwater Vehicles.”

The Boeing Company is continuing its long-running partnership with Cal Poly Pomona by donating $100,000 to be shared among the colleges of Engineering, Science, and Business Administration for scholarships, student clubs, and research projects.
On October 13, five representatives from the company, including Vice President Joan Robinson-Berry who is an engineering alumna of Cal Poly Pomona, met with University President Soraya M. Coley and the deans of Engineering, Science, and Business Administration to present this year’s donation.
