Jeffrey Olson

Jeffrey 
Olson , Phil Pregill and Joan Woodward, professors, Architecture, and graduate students Adam Kringel, Miki Yanai Hernandez and Rochelle Tortorete enrolled in a 606 studeio course and developed a landscape framework plan for the Arroyo Seco Parkway Corridor. The Historical American Engineering Record and the California Department of Transportation documented the planning and engineering of the project, which was awarded a 2002 Preservation Award from the Los Angeles Conservancy. The award was presented at the Millennium Biltmore in May in Los Angeles.

Michael Folonis

Folonis , lecturer, Architecture, was featured in the February 2002 issue of Dwell magazine. The article focused on one of Folonis's projects, the renovation of the historic Avenel Apartment complex that was built for union musicians in 1948. The complex is located in Silver Lake Hills, a residential community northeast of downtown Los Angeles.
