Planning and Action

Urban and Regional Planning Professor Richard Willson’s new book, “Reflective Planning Practice: Theory, Cases, and Methods,” has been published by Routledge. Chapter six, “Creating a Climate Action Plan at Cal Poly Pomona,” examines the plan’s creation process, legacies and challenges. The chapter includes commentaries from other experts, such as Serina Alexander (’12, master of urban and regional planning), who is an assistant professor at San Jose State University. Willson is also an artist and his painting “The Approach” is featured on the book’s cover.
