MingHeng Li, a professor of chemical and materials engineering, has been named an associate editor of a peer-reviewed journal focused on renewable and sustainable energy.
Li, who joined Cal Poly Pomona in 2007 and received his Ph.D. from UCLA in 2004, will be an editor for the Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy, which is published by the American Institute of Physics. The editors chosen for the publication are scholars from universities and research labs.
Li has also worked for PPG Industries, which manufactures paints and coatings, has published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles on topics ranging from energy to water desalination. He received the College of Engineering’s Outstanding Award for Research in 2016.
