A variety of student concerns highlighted a video conversation between Cal Poly Pomona President Soraya M. Coley and ASI President James Cox.
Cox recently sat down with Coley over cups of tea in the Bronco Student Center to discuss issues raised by students.
Some of the topics: updating classroom equipment, adding outdoor seating, supporting undocumented students, the need for more ATMs, the first-year housing requirement, the extension of hours in the University Library and providing additional electrical outlets to charge devices.
With the spring quarter drawing to a close, Coley said that some of the issues raised may need to be followed up by incoming ASI President Julian Herrera. Cox is graduating in June with a degree in biology.
In the first Conversations with Coley video, the president chatted with Professor David Speak, chair of the Academic Senate on the needs and priorities of faculty members.
