Here’s a schedule with a description of activities:
Monday (CPP Spirit Day)
Wear your CPP gear and get a Homecoming shirt! One hundred fifty free T-shirts will be available at noon in front of the Bronco Student Center. If you do not get a chance to get one, you can purchase one in the Games Room for only $6.
Come to the Lunar New Year Celebration during U-Hour in University Park. The event is sponsored by the Asian Pacific Islander Student Center and will feature performances by cultural groups, crafts, drawings and ethnic food for sale.
Afterward, find a Valentine through speed dating at 3 p.m. at Ursa Major in the Bronco Student Center. Mingle with others, have some refreshments and enjoy a good time.
Join the Inter Hall Council for I (Heart) Earth Day from 6 to 8 p.m. in the multipurpose room by the Suites. Paint trashcans, make reusable bags, decorate plant pots, and get free Brita water filters and bottles.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with the “ASI Makes My Heart Beat” event during U-Hour in University Park. Make Valentine’s Day cards, enjoy free candy, and get your picture taken with Billy Bronco at a photo booth.
The Greek community also will have its Valentine’s Day Food Sale at the park. All proceeds will go to charity.
ASI BEAT will hold a pep rally and homecoming concert from 7 to 10 p.m. in Ursa Major. Vote for your favorite senior athletes to become homecoming king and queen. Naked Walrus, Koruscant Weekend and Finish Ticket will perform. A homecoming dance featuring DJ 4K0 will follow.
Come support the men’s baseball team as it plays a doubleheader with Cal State San Bernardino at Scolinos Field. The first game is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. with the second game at 2 p.m.
Then come to the Kellogg Gym and enjoy free hot dogs and drinks before the women’s basketball game against Cal State Monterey Bay at 5:30 p.m. The men’s basketball team will play Cal State Monterey Bay at 7:30 p.m.
