Outstanding Advisors Honored

Outstanding advisors for 2010 are honored.

President Michael Ortiz honored this year’s Outstanding Academic Advisers for their dedication to students with an awards reception on May 13 in the CLA Building’s Heritage Room. In addition to the nine individual awards, two outstanding programs were also honored.

The Outstanding Advisors are:

  • Broc A. Sandelin, Animal & Veterinary Science/College of Agriculture
  • Kevin Farmer, Management & Human Resources/College of Business Administration
  • Dennis Jacobsen, Education/College of Education and Integrative Studies
  • James S. Kang, Electrical and Computer Engineering/College of Engineering
  • Andrew O. Wilcox, Landscape Architecture/College of Environmental Design
  • Donald W. St. Hilaire, Collins College of Hospitality Management
  • Faye L. Wachs, Psychology & Sociology/College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences
  • Barbara Burke, Chemistry/College of Science
  • Amber Stroman, Student Support and Equity Programs/Student Affairs

The Outstanding Program Awardees are:
