Stanley Abraham, professor in the management & human resources department, is one of only 24 people in the country to become a certified Strategic Management Professional (SMP). The Association for Strategic Planning (ASP) unveiled the new certification program at its 2010 conference in Pasadena as way for the best professionals in the field to be recognized for their achievements. Abraham helped develop the certification program and, as a result, has been named a Pioneer SMP. Co-founded by Abraham, ASP is the only nonprofit dedicated to advancing thought and practice in strategy development and deployment.
