[Updated 9:03 a.m., Feb. 19] The transition road to the northbound Orange (57) Freeway from the San Bernardino (10) Freeway will be closed for about a week as crews clear the dirt and boulders from Thursday’s landslide.

The landslide also affects the connector from the northbound Chino Valley (71) Freeway to the northbound 57 Freeway.

The roads leading to Cal Poly Pomona are not directly impacted. However, traffic in the surrounding areas may be delayed.

[Feb. 18] Expect traffic delays today in the Pomona-San Dimas area from a landslide that is blocking a freeway transition road.

The connector from the westbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway to the northbound Orange (57) Freeway is closed, as well as the transition road from the northbound Chino Valley (71) Freeway to the northbound 57 Freeway.

The roads leading to Cal Poly Pomona are not directly impacted. However, traffic in the surrounding areas may be delayed and rerouted.

The landslide was reported around 8:40 a.m. on Thursday at the northeast corner of the 10 and 57 freeways, according to the California Highway Patrol. No injuries have been reported.

The landslide has no direct impact on campus.
