The California Faculty Association (CFA), representing approximately 23,000 employees, and the Academic Professionals of California (APC), representing 2,400 student service employees, have ratified agreements to implement a two-day-per-month furlough program.
The revised operations calendar for Cal Poly Pomona employees observing furloughs is now available online. The new schedule begins Aug. 1 and continues through June 30, 2010.
The Academic Senate meeting on Wednesday, July 29 at 3 p.m. will be streamed live online. The Senate Executive Committee has invited President Michael Ortiz, Provost Martin denBoer and Vice President Ed Barnes to give a presentation and report on the plans for addressing the budget cuts.
