Bill Hughes, director of the Arabian Horse Unit, received a 10-year volunteer appreciation pin from the City of Chino Hills on May 1. He also received letters of accommodation from Gary Ovitt, vice chairman of the Board of Supervisors of San Bernardino County; State Senator Bob Margett; Assemblyman Bob Huff; Rep. Gary G. Miller; and Curt Hagman, Mayor of Chino Hills. Hughes received the awards for serving on the McCoy Equestrian Center Operations Committee. In addition, Hughes has been named to the newly-formed Chino Hills Foundation, which is composed of business leaders and chaired by Hagman. One of the foundation?s goals is to raise funds for a new community library and other projects.
