The annual Wellness and Cyber Security Fairs will once again take place jointly in the Bronco Student Center on Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This year's Wellness Fair theme is “How Big is Your Footprint?” The event, which is organized by Student Health Services, will focus on environmental health. The fair is designed to help students develop healthy lifestyles and will feature more than 65 exhibitors. Participants can receive free health assessments and food samples.

The Cyber Security Fair coincides with the National Cyber Security Awareness Month. This year's theme is “Your Cyber Footprint, how far does it go?” The fair aims to educate the campus community about ways to avoid becoming victims of Internet fraud. There will be a total of 74 exhibits and a presentation on Microsoft-Vista and SecondLife from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

From 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., Steven Rambam, founder and CEO of Pallorium, Inc. will lead a seminar titled “Privacy is Dead – Get Over It.” The seminar will include an in-depth demonstration of an actual online investigation and a Q&A session during the last half-hour of the lecture.

The fairs conclude with a grand prize drawing for an xBox 360 with Halo 3 and more than 20 other great prizes. In all, nearly $1,700 in prizes will be given away.
