Bronco Basketball Games To Be Shown Live On The Web
The men's basketball team is 4-1 and tied for first in the CCAA.
The women's team has a 2-3 record in conference play and a 3-7 mark overall.

Cal Poly Pomona's basketball programs will get some national exposure Saturday.

The Broncos' California Collegiate Athletic Association doubleheader against Cal State Stanislaus is being broadcast live on the Internet courtesy of the NCAA and College Sports TV.

The Cal Poly Pomona-Cal State Stanislaus women's game will tip off at 5:30 p.m. with the men's game to follow at approximately 7:30 p.m. The games were selected by the NCAA as part of its basketball package with CSTV that will feature more than 60 NCAA Division II contests this season.

The Cal Poly Pomona-Cal State Stanislaus doubleheader will complete a full day of basketball competition that will be available at http://www.cstv.com/ncaa/divii/.

Cal Poly Pomona's men's team enters the weekend ranked 19th in the nation with an 8-2 record. The Broncos are 4-1 and tied for first in the CCAA. Cal State Stanislaus is 7-6 overall and 3-3 in conference play entering this weekend's games.

Cal Poly Pomona's women have a 2-3 record in conference play and a 3-7 mark overall. Cal State Stanislaus is 3-7 overall and 0-5 in conference play.

The Cal Poly Pomona and Chico State doubleheader on Friday will be audio Web cast on the Cal Poly Pomona athletic Web site at www.broncoathletics.com.

Both Cal Poly Pomona teams have enjoyed great success over the past seven years. A Bronco basketball team has reached the NCAA Division II West Region championship game in six of the past seven years. During that time span, the women's team has won a pair of NCAA Division II national championships in 2001 and 2002, while the men's team captured the 2005 and 2003 NCAA Division II West Region titles. The Bronco women were also in regional title games in 2000 and 2004.
