Wayne Bidlack to Leave Dean?s Post

After 12 years with the College of Agriculture, Wayne Bidlack has announced his intention to leave the dean's position, effective June 11, 2007. He will return to the classroom as a professor, teaching Human Nutrition & Food Science as well as Animal & Veterinary Science courses.

On the scenic landscape near Cal Poly Pomona's AGRIscapes and Farm Store, new members of the Cal Poly Pomona community are taking root. Weeks Roses, one of the most esteemed rose producers in the United States, and Camacho Strawberries, a local farming business known for its delicious crop, have relocated to on-campus sites.

Darfur Debate

Stopping the genocide in Darfur: does the crisis need international attention or should the responsibility be left to the African community? Come witness students' debate on this topic Thursday, Jan. 18 from 12 p.m. – 1p.m. in the University Quad. The event is sponsored by the Political Science Club and the Center for Community Service-Learning as part of the 2007 Raise Your Voice campaign.
