Students are invited to ride a rooters' bus to cheer on the men's basketball team as it kicks off its 2006-07 exhibition season with a game at historic Pauley Pavilion against UCLA on Thursday, Nov. 2. The Broncos' game against UCLA is the start of an exhibition slate against some Division I heavyweights.

New Mathematics Education Program Offered

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is launching a new graduate program designed to train students how to teach mathematics at the community-college level. The department is adding an emphasis in mathematics education to its master's in mathematics program.
