CSU LEADER – CSU Launches Math/Science Teacher Project

The California State University launched its math and science teacher initiative at a summit on March 2 in Industry Hills. In other news, CSU leaders fanned out among eight of the largest African American churches in the L.A. basin on Feb. 26 to bring the message to the community that the CSU wants to help more African American students prepare for and succeed in college.

CalPERS Workshops

The Benefits Office has made arrangements for a California Public Employees? Retirement System (CalPERS) representative to conduct two workshops on Wednesday, March 8, in the CLA Building 98, Heritage Conference Center (eighth floor). Bronco Exhibit Gallery

?Gelato Run,? an exhibit featuring trip documentation to Italy from students and Art professor Joe Hannibal, will be on display March 1-April 30 in the Bronco Exhibit Gallery in the upper level of the Bronco Student Center. Featured students are: Irin Simon, David Celaya, Kenneth Do, Erika Nevaril, Michael Puckett, Margaret Sanchez, Anna Marie and Mary Kate Francesco. In addition, a group exhibit featuring character artwork will be on display March 4 ? April 30. This exhibit is curated by students Nolan Cabeje and Chenai Nezungai.
