Cal Poly Pomona's fourth annual Showcase of Excellence on Jan. 28 drew a crowd of more than 800 prospective students and their family members. The event is designed to encourage high achieving high school seniors to apply for the Honors Program and to enroll at Cal Poly Pomona.
This year's program began with a university video created by Studio Six and an address by President Michael Ortiz and Provost Tomas Morales, followed by a panel of faculty and students who spoke about the academic and social sides of life at the university. Students and their guests also visited individual colleges where they interacted with deans, associate deans, faculty and students. The event also included a Resource Fair and campus tours.
