Bronco Bookstore Holiday Sale

The Bronco Bookstore is holding its annual Customer Appreciation Holiday Sale Dec. 5-9. Take 20 percent off all Bronco clothing and gift items, including those marked for clearance. The bookstore carries a large selection of holiday goodies, including many ornaments that are only $1.95 before markdown. December Paychecks

December faculty and staff paychecks will be released to individual employees with photo identification at the Cashier's Office (CLA Building, Japanese Garden entrance) on Friday, Dec. 30, 11 a.m. to noon. If someone else will be picking up a paycheck for an employee, that individual must present photo identification and a signed note from the employee authorizing the release of the paycheck. The note must include the employee's social security number. Direct deposit notices and paychecks not picked up on Dec. 30 will be released to authorized department representatives on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at 9:30 a.m. in the CLA Building, B1-31. Online Applications Continue to Grow

In what marks the ninth straight year of record-setting growth in online applications, 439,953 applications for California State University admissions were received during the regular fall 2006 open enrollment period between Oct. 1 and Nov. 30. That total represents a five percent increase over the previous year's online applications during the same period.

Procurement & Support Services and OfficeMax invite faculty and staff to the 2005 annual Office Products Fair on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Bronco Student Center. Francis, Anderson Earn Volleyball
All-America Honors

Cal Poly Pomona?s women?s volleyball team now has a pair of All-America awards to put an exclamation point on one of the best seasons in the program?s history. Seniors Kellie Francis and Allison Anderson were both named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division II All-America teams announced Nov. 28 by the AVCA. Francis, an outside hitter for Cal Poly Pomona, earned second-team honors, while Anderson, a middle blocker for the Broncos, received third-team honors.
